Well, you wouldn't wish it on your worst enemy - packing up a household and moving to another country. However, given that the place we were heading for was Australia, a house instead of an apartment, the bike was coming and there were lots of friends and fun things to do amongst the packing, it ended up being an ecstatic time. Jen completed her doctorate and graduated, we got to catch up with great friends, went to visit some favourite places, and said goodbye to San Francisco.
So, in order, we had some great parties (thanks to the vxknob crew and Su-Ling/the DBED team old and new), Jen Graduated (finally!), visited Monterey, Ano Nuevo, Point Reyes and Golden Gate Park. Then it was time for packing and getting all that dirt off for the quarantine folks.
